This is a good book for anyone who wants to feel more comfortable with Excel's date and time formulas. I enjoyed reading this book, finishing it in one evening (I'm very comfortable with other aspects of Excel). The book starts by explaining why different versions (Mac vs. PC) and different settings are important if you share worksheets with others. It then explains how date/time data is stored in Excel and why Excel sometimes doesn't recognize dates but does at other times. There are numerous examples from real-world applications and each is clearly explained. And reasons why the functions may not behave as expected are illustrated and explained. In all, the book makes it easy to remember how to handle dates and times in Excel formulas.My only concern is the price is a bit steep for what reads like a chapter of a larger tome on Excel, but the explanations seem more informative than the chapters I've read in numerous huge books on how to use Excel.
