I'm so glad that Kiki and Reese were mates in this book. They both recognized each other as mates from the beginning, which I really liked, however they took it slow as they tried to build their relationship. Kiki was so cute when he was angry, and I tend to enjoy the crazy ex (or just a manic one nighter) concept of a storyline. The characters all have their distinctive charm, and support each other through times of danger and distress. This addition to the series was gripping, touching, and just exquisitely hot. =)

Loved it
Loved the characters, the love story was sweet. This is the first book I've read in the series, I know I chose #13 hey it's my lucky number!. Anyway, the characters were believable, the story line sound and the ending wasn't rushed. Can't wait to read 1-12!
I get very excited when a see a character of color one of these novels. The storyline was better than most of the others in the series. I'm glad to see 2 opposing characters actually mentally engaged in the "mating" ritual rather than just jumping in the sack. 3 cheers!!
This was great ,the second time around to I love that opposites are attracted to each other too and I thank all the writers who write in there books to show us it can happen......
Oh my goodness.. I have only written 2 reviews because I am a reader not a writer. However I just had to say, I have waited on Reasse's story and I am so excited it is finally here. It was worth the wait. So twisted and so surprising and so unexpected. Wonderful. I will give nothing away but to say JOB WELL DONE. Now my next great wait is the story of Ciri. I hope it takes my on just as twisted if not a bit darker journey. I will wait on pins and needles. Have missed story's of Christians coven. I enjoy them all.
Even fated love is not a smooth journey. Fun, family, mishaps & adventures.

This book was so good, on so many levels, that it is hard to really put into words. The 2 main characters are Reese and Kiki. They are mates and have the usual drama-laced mating dilemmas and difficulties. It turns out really well for them and the story is involving and a great read. What is really review worthy about this book tho, is the background characters and ongoing info that we keep getting about the Panahasi/Vampire secrets that she keeps tossing at us.
The character Hunan made me cry. His story and involvement in the development of the story was mysterious and captivating. Because of Reese's past you expect one thing and it ends up being something completely unexpected! I love that. It makes these series books worth coming back for more. It was a brilliant way to keep us interested and involved with all these shifters we have grown to love. I was surprised at this book, and although it isn't always a good thing to be surprised, this time it definitely was!
